Our Story
How we Got Engaged:
Edbert wanted to surprise me on
January 28 2005 by taking me to San Diego for the weekend. He
didn't tell me where we were going for dinner. We both got
dressed, and got in the car and started driving. When we got
closer to the port, I realized that were going on a dinner
cruise! I didn't know right away that he was going to propose.
We got settled in our table, went for a walk around the boat
(which was very romantic and cold). Once dinner was served be
when back to our table. I went to the restroom to wash up,
when I came back I noticed everyone looking at me funny,
especially our waitress. Edbert got on one knee and held up
the ring. I think it was the excitement and nervousness, but
we both couldn't speak, it was like we could read each others
thoughts. He then put the ring on my finger. The whole time
the waitress was taking pictures and the tables around us were
applauding. It was the most sweetest, romantic, best moment of
my life so far.
